LCC Checklist
Wear proper clothing--closed-toe shoes (NO CROCS), weather-appropriate clothing, long-shorts or long-pants.
Climbing the challenge course tower can be rough on clothing. We don’t recommend you wear your very best.
If you have long hair, it is best to wear it back in a ponytail.
It is best to leave dangling jewelry at home.
You must weigh less than 300 pounds to use the zip line and less than 250 pound to participate in the high ropes portion.
You must be able to physically fit into the safety harness (waist less than 54 inches).
If you are participating in high elements, you must be able to ascend a rope ladder to a height of at least 40 feet, which is approximately as challenging as climbing a standard ladder four stories high.
The high elements require traveling under your own power on a small diameter cable (approx. 1 inch wide). This could be thought of as “walking a tight rope” with aids for balance. AS you traverse high elements, you will need to shift your weight often.
You need to be able to reach unassisted to a minimum height of 6 ft. to access safety tethers with your hands.
You need to be able to see--corrected or uncorrected--your surroundings and have a depth perception of at least 5 feet.
You must be able to understand safety information given verbally by our staff in English.
No one under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or impairing legal drugs will be allowed to participate.
